Distributors of Alternative Investment Funds (Categories I and II) aim to establish a standard minimum knowledge standard for those operating in the Alternative Investment Fund industry in India, including:
- Suppliers, or Recruiting Agents
- Additionally, it seeks to provide higher caliber investment services and improve the caliber of sales and distribution.
In order to improve the caliber of sales and distribution as well as enable higher caliber investor services, the NISM Series XIX-A exam intends to provide a standard baseline knowledge benchmark for individuals operating as distributors or placement agents in the Alternative Investment Fund industry in India. The Category I and II AIFs are the main subject of the examination.
